Soon the voice assistant Amazon Alexa will appear on thousands of computers under control of operating system Windows 10.
A new initiative announced in the framework of the exhibition electronics CES 2018, taking place in Las Vegas (NV, USA). The project involves Amazon and well-known manufacturers of personal computers, in particular, HP, Lenovo, ASUS and Acer.
It is reported that software for the Windows platform 10 will create a specialized application that will provide access to the voice assistant, Alexa. To activate the assistant, the users can using a special voice command or via the keyboard.
Assume that a Windows-enabled computers Amazon Alexa will appear in the current year. The above-mentioned manufacturers intend to ensure the implementation of this assistant in a number of its laptop and desktop systems.
It should be noted that Microsoft has its own voice assistant — Cortana system, which is integrated in Windows platform 10. Thus, soon Cortana will co-exist with Amazon Alexa.
