300 Chinese tourists tried to capture the ferry “Olkhon gates” plying between the mainland and Olkhon island. According to Sergey Sizikova, who at that time was the captain of the ferry “Olkhon gate”, the incident occurred when the ferry docked at the pier on the island and the crew unloaded from the vessel of the machine.

He also notes that the flow of Chinese tourists to the island has greatly increased in recent times. “Every day we keep these Chinese — but will not go on this one. It’s impossible.
