New Zealand announced the squad for the confederations Cup

Coach New Zealand football Anthony Hudson announced the list of players who will travel to Russia for the confederations Cup.

At the upcoming event New Zealand will play being the winner of the OFC Nations Cup 2016. The islanders for the fourth time will start in the confederations Cup. The last appearance of the team in 2009, went unnoticed – “All in white” took only one point in three matches and has not scored a single goal.

The composition of New Zealand at the confederations Cup:

Goalkeepers: Glen moss (“Newcastle jets”), Stefan marinovic (“hospitality”) and Tamachi Williams (“Waalwijk”).

Defenders: Tommy Smith (“Ipswich town”), Sam Brotherton (Sunderland), storm Roux (“Central coast mariners”), Michael Boxall (“Supersport United”), Kip Kolvi (“San Jose Erdves”), Themistoklis Simopoulos (“Ioannina”), Andrew Durant, Thomas Doyle (both — “Wellington Phoenix”), Declan Wynne (Vancouver) and Dan Ingham (“Brisbane roar”).

Midfielders: Clayton Lewis (“Auckland city”), Michael McGlinchey, Alex Arthur Rufer (both — “Wellington Phoenix”), Ryan Thomas (“Zwolle”), bill Tuiloma (Marseille) and Marco Rojas (“Melbourne victory”).

Forwards: Monty mark Patterson (“Ipswich”), Shane Smeltz (“Borneo”), Chris wood (“Leeds United”) and Costa Barbarouses (“Wellington Phoenix”).

The main star of the new Zealand team can be called forward “Leeds” Chris wood – the captain of the team in the championship have scored 27 goals and became the best scorer of the second prestigious division in English football.

In the group stage of the confederations Cup team New Zealand will face Russia, Portugal and Mexico. The first match of the wards of Anthony Hudson will hold on June 17.
