Humanity will attempt to approach the Sun at a record close distance.
International space Agency (NASA) announced the start of project Solar Probe Plus (SPP), under which the research probe would “feel” the Sun.
In August 2018, the carrier rocket Delta IV–Heavy launched into space research probe to get closer to the main star of the Solar system at a record distance of 6.2 million kilometers. It is seven times closer than it’s ever been able to come closer to the Sun earlier.
Scientists hope that the new space mission will allow you to learn more about the physical characteristics of the Sun and to clarify the influence of the stars on the Ground and the weather on our planet.
