Museum of Pablo Picasso and the national Museum of Art is recognized as the most visited in Barcelona in 2017. On Wednesday, January 24.

It is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 19:00, Thursdays from 09:00 to 21:30. The cost of a visit is 12 euros.
On the second place – the national Museum of Art, which was visited by 869 262 people. The Museum features more than 200,000 works spanning a thousand years of history of Catalan, Spanish and European art from romanticism, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque to the mid-twentieth century. Among the exhibits are works by El Greco and Velazquez. The Museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, Sunday and public holidays from 10:00 to 15:00. The price of admission is 12 euros.
In addition, the increase in the number of visitors last year saw at the exhibition center and Cosmo Caixa cultural centre, Caixa Forum, which got two for the year, about 1.6 million of art lovers. Among the museums, who noted a decrease in the number of guests – “the peace Foundation” Center for contemporary culture and the Museum of modern art.
