In the morning, on the heads of passengers of Georgian underground the ceiling collapsed at the station Varketili. Seven people were injured, some hospitalized.
In the metro of Tbilisi on Tuesday, January 30, collapsed part of the ceiling at the station Varketili.
According to the newspaper Georgia Online, as a result of incident three persons suffered. At the same time, Rustavi 2 reports on the seven victims. Some of them were hospitalized.
After the incident, passengers were evacuated on the scene working rescue groups.

It is also reported that the station Varketili was repaired only four months ago. Part of the works, in particular, has updated the interior of the upper and lower lobby of the station, repaired the sloping tunnels, cleared the granite and marble floor.
