Earlier Metro: Exodus was going to release in the fall of 2018.
Autumn of 2018 will be hot due to only one Red Dead Redemption 2. Not a blockbuster will be able to compete with new Games, so publishers have two: either to catch up to the release of a Western, either to escape to another time period. Apparently, the owners of Metro: Exodus chose the second tactic.
Earlier Metro: Exodus was going to release in the fall of 2018. However, a recent report to investors, THQ Nordic announced the new dates: now shooter should arrive in stores in the first quarter of 2019. Official reasons for the delay are not called.
We will remind that Metro: Exodus was going to publish Deep Silver, which acquired the rights to the series from the bankrupt THQ. But Deep Silver has recently become part of THQ Nordic, which is also welded to the death of THQ.
At THQ Nordic, I accumulated a rich portfolio, which is a sin not to brag on any game show, but the publisher decided to skip E3 2018 for football and beer. So fresh details about Metro: Exodus at the moment are expected at gamescom in August 2018.
