In anticipation of the release of the new Apple TV with 4K support Apple has begun to publish content at the appropriate resolution in the iTunes store in the U.S. and other countries.
Movies in 4K in iTunes, you can recognize the new “4K” and “Dolby Vision”, they are displayed as on a television console and on iOS devices. Now available only a few films with this mark, but by next week their number should significantly increase.
The cost of the movies, as promised Apple matches the price of a regular HD movies. In addition, the company updates the already purchased user content to 4K without any additional payment.
Sales of the new Apple TV will begin next Friday, September 22.
