A couple of weeks ago the “red” chip maker has trademarked Vega II with a new logo.
At a time when some web publications are busy spreading “ducks”, telling about the imminent debut of graphics solutions AMD Navi and attributing them to a mind-boggling ratio of price and performance, in the depths of Advanced Micro Devices is working on new products that use the familiar architecture of Vega. A couple of weeks ago the “red” chip maker has trademarked Vega II with a new logo.
The existence of trademarks AMD Vega II does not mean that the approach to a new gaming series Radeon RX Vega II. Most likely, the new brand refers to the professional boosters of lines Instinct and Radeon Radeon Pro, using 7-nanometer graphics processor Vega 20.
In any case, registration of a new trademark suggests that AMD is not yet ready to say goodbye to the Vega architecture used in the company’s products since last year. However, what boosters will be promoted under the brand name Vega II, at the moment we can only guess.
