In Ukraine the forgotten story

На Украине забыли историю

Ukrainian politicians lay under own history and relations with Russia the next “bomb.” High-ranking officials and experts present themselves as clowns, and their country – a circus, intending to give the official status of “Soviet occupation of Ukraine”. A new manifestation of the state of the absurd threatens to eradicate in Ukraine the concept of “historical memory”, replacing it with shoddy pseudo-substitute.

The wild concept of “Soviet occupation” Ukraine has de facto legalized. 17 July 2016, the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine approved the program of the study of history in high schools, in which the concept of “Soviet occupation” attracted a lot of attention. The order of the Ministry of education – this is an official document, but may be limited to Kiev, it seems, is not going to.

The head of the so-called Institute of national memory Vladimir vyatrovich live on owned by Petro Poroshenko “5 channel” said about the plans for the recognition of the “occupation” at a higher level. According to Vyatrovich, a historian, the Soviet government was allegedly exported to Ukraine from the outside.

It is clear that to perceive Vyatrovich seriously difficult, but today it is necessary to do. He is one of the initiators of fantastic ideas like “de-communization” and the glorification of collaborators during the great Patriotic war, which Parliament has already brought to life.
So, vyatrovich says further recognition of the “Soviet occupation”, something that, apparently, the Ukrainian Parliament and is going to do. This is indicated by the fact that about the “Soviet occupation” said “the second person of Ukraine” – the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andrew Parubiy. He went even further Vyatrovich told that the Soviets occupied not something, and “Millennium of the Ukrainian state”. Synchronous popiaritsya on the same subject the leader of the far-right party “Svoboda” Oleg Tyagnibok:
“We need to recognize the fact of occupation of Moscow in Ukraine, listen, in the period from 1918, when the war started against the Ukrainian people’s Republic, until 1991. If we recognize at the country level that there was an occupation and was a multimillion-dollar genocide of the Ukrainian nation, the doors of international courts for us will be revealed.

Let us try to understand the subject impartially. So, according to encyclopedic definition, the occupation is the occupation of the armed forces of States not belonging to its territory, is not accompanied by the acquisition of sovereignty over it, is usually temporary.

Whether there was something similar in the case of Ukraine and the Soviet power? Of course not!

Shortly after the February revolution in Kiev was established the “Central Council” is an organization, which today is in Ukraine for some reason called the national Parliament, state legislature. But, excuse me, about any “Ukrainian state” at the time was not even a question! The creators of TSR and participants of the April the all-Ukrainian national Congress was talking about is to ask the Russian authorities to national-territorial autonomy. No more! In June 1917, the autonomy was unilaterally fixed the so-called “the First universal of the Central Rada.”

Quite remarkable “Second estate” was passed in July 1917. It was stated the following: “We, the Central Rada, has always stood for something, not to separate Ukraine from Russia.” A Ukrainian General Secretariat (improvised Cabinet) declared “on the Provisional government.”

Relations between Petrograd and Kiev began to seriously deteriorate after the October revolution when the Provisional government loyal military units to feed the bodies of the Central Rada were defeated in Kyiv the building of the Soviet of workers ‘ deputies. In the city there was an attempt of the Bolshevik uprising, but the Central Rada was transferred to Kiev loyal troops and staged a massacre, to stay in power. It should be emphasized that all this time the province of new Russia and Sloboda Ukraine in the composition declared in Kiev, Ukrainian autonomy was not included. And it is clearly mentioned in the documents.

Only in the “Third universal of the Central Rada (November 1917) the historical territory of new Russia and Sloboda Ukraine was related to the self-proclaimed the same document of the Ukrainian national Republic in structure of Russia. About any independence of Ukraine, again was not even a question.

In November, the Petrograd established with Kiev connection. Negotiations with representatives of the Central Rada was led by Stalin personally, who spoke about the Federation and promised “not to hamper the autonomy of Ukraine.” However, a week later, Petliura, using loyal to the Kiev military units engaged in outright sabotage at the front. In response, the Petrograd blamed Kiev’s unfriendly behavior and requested the position of the UPR action ataman Kaledin, rose in revolt on don. However, the Kiev General Secretariat in response agreed to refuse to Petrograd in the passage of Soviet troops to the don and to start negotiations on cooperation with Kaledin, that was tantamount to a Declaration of war to the Bolsheviks. I stress that we are talking about a civil war between various Russian political structures (the Central Rada and the General Secretariat was originally a Provisional government) and not between Russia and Ukraine.

In early December the Council of people’s Commissars addressed to Kiev with the Manifesto, which recognized the UPR and national law of Ukraine,” but demanded an end to disarm the Soviet units and to assist in the fight against Kaledin. But General Secretariat formally rejected the proposal.

In December 1917 the Central Rada leadership tore held in Kiev the all-Ukrainian Congress of Soviets, drove him thousands of people today in Ukraine called “titushky.” The Bolsheviks left turned into a circus event and left for a new Congress in Kharkov. After all that Lenin stated that the Central Council has declared the Soviets the war.

I must say that even after the unfriendly actions of the Central Rada Bolsheviks originally did not intend to come to Kiev and just tried to take control of a key rail station for transporting troops to the don. In parallel, the Soviet leadership is still trying to establish with Kiev relations. However, representatives of the Central Council talked about their requirements (the official registration of the Federation (!), pass to Ukraine, “Ukrainian troops”), but the discussion of “Kaledin question” sabotaged.

Against this background, in Kharkov, supporters of the Soviet regime were disarmed on the side UPR part, and 11 – 12 (24 -25) Dec there was the First all-Ukrainian Congress of Soviets proclaimed the establishment of Ukrainian people’s Republic of Soviets of workers’, peasants’, soldiers ‘and Cossacks’ deputies and created VCYXU. And also approved the national Secretariat – the first official Ukrainian government.

Curiously, the Prime Minister of the Kiev UNR Vynnychenko was to negotiate with the CPC and to begin to disarm the dons, moving on the territory of “autonomy”, but strongly it was opposed by the defense Minister Petliura, who championed cooperation with Kaledin.

In late December 1917 and early January 1918 the people began to establish Soviet power in the large industrial and port cities of modern South-East of Ukraine. Was proclaimed in Odessa and Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Soviet Republic. In January 1918 the Council of people’s Commissars officially recognized the government of Soviet Ukraine, and “red” forces launched an offensive against the forces of the Central Rada, which only then proclaimed the “independence” of the UPR (thus, the Bolsheviks announced the creation of a Ukrainian state before – while supporters of the Central Rada still actually believed himself to be on the now-defunct Provisional government).

However, Kiev did not want to accept the authority of the Central Rada and raised 16 (29) of January 1918, the revolt, the center of which was a factory “Arsenal”. The day the uprising spread to entire city. However, in Kiev moved ukrainesunday military unit under the leadership of Petlyura, that drowned the city in blood, and the popular uprising on 22 January (4 February) suppressed. On the same day, Soviet troops went to Kiev Darnitsa, but to help like-minded people did not. To 27 January (9 February) Kiev was fully occupied Soviet units, bodies of the Central Rada and the loyal troops of the city fled.

However, in the spring of 1918, the supporters of the TSR returned to Kiev with the Ukraine occupied by German troops. But it turned out to be incompetent, and the Parliament was actually dissolved itself. Germany in April 1918 was appointed Hetman of the Ukraine of the former tsarist General Pavlo Skoropadsky. The puppet government lasted six months. When the German defeat became imminent, Skoropadsky declared an Act of the Federation, again uniting Ukraine with Russia and went to Germany with the retreating armies of its allies. To the credit of Skoropadsky, later he strongly refused to cooperate with the Nazis. Killed the ex-Hetman in 1945, as a result of the Anglo-American bombing of the territory of the Third Reich.

At the end of 1918 to modern southern Ukraine began the intervention of the Entente, however, operated under the auspices of the French troops were quickly broken “red”.

In the center of Ukraine at the same time tried to seize power to obey Petlyura Directory UNR. However, on the territory of modern Ukraine have moved two Soviet Ukrainian division. Directory armies began to move to the side of Soviet power. In January of the successful Bolshevik uprising occurred in Kharkov, and in February, under the power of the Soviets was Kiev. March 8-10, 1919 in Kharkov at the Third Congress of Soviets was proclaimed an independent Ukrainian SSR, headed by Grigoriy Petrovsky.

However, in the summer of 1919 a successful offensive in the Ukraine launched Denikin, who was able by November to take most of the Republic under his control. The power of the White movement, however, stuck around for a while. By the end of the year, the Red army counterattacked. But in early 1920 the Bolsheviks took control of almost the entire territory of Ukraine.

But the trials for the Soviets is not over. In early 1919 newly independent Poland decides to take the opportunity to Annex the territory of Belarus, Ukraine and the Baltic States. In 1920, the poles are deploying the attack on Ukraine and in Kyiv may take. True, the summer troops of Poland were defeated by Budyonny and retreated. Only serious miscalculations of Tukhachevsky and some other commanders saved Warsaw from a complete rout. Fighting in Belarus lasted a few months, but does not give any decisive advantage. In 1921 was signed the Treaty of Riga whereby Poland recognized the independence of Ukraine and Belarus, but maintained (under pressure from the West) under his rule their Western historic region (which will be annexed by the USSR only in 1939).

After the onset of relative calm in 1922, the USSR made along with the RSFSR, BSSR and ZSFSR of the founding of the Union of Soviet Socialist republics (USSR), in which she remained until 1991.

Thus, the first in the history of the “Ukrainian state” was created and de jure and de facto Bolsheviks. UNR sample 1917 was only conditionally Autonomous entity within Russia, and its “authorities” was a Provisional government. The proclamation of independence of the UNR in January 1918 took place only on paper and after the creation of the Ukrainian Soviet Republic in Kharkiv. Directory of Ukraine in 1919, expelled the Ukrainian Soviet units.

Had a Civil war in which both sides cooperated with the “external forces”. The USSR was the “Ukrainian national state formation”, and the whole course of its subsequent history confirms this. In order to strengthen the USSR, Lenin was a voluntarist decision gave her more developed in industrial terms native Russian Odessa and Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Republic, the Ukraine (the prototype of the future of Ukraine) never any relation had no, but was in 1920-e years subjected by the Bolsheviks enforced (!) Ukrainization.

As in the full independence of the USSR and during the Soviet Union the bulk of the political elite of Soviet Ukraine was the local people (beginning with Peter’s). Contrary to popular myth, there are no “mass Moscow’s puppets” in power in the USSR was not.
From 1939 to 1954, the Soviet leadership was engaged in the extension to Ukraine of the territories, have never had the history of the Ukraine. Namely: Galicia, Volhynia, Bessarabia, Bukovina, Transcarpathia, Crimea.

Moreover, after the war most of the time the Soviet Union was led by people from the Ukraine!

Ethnic Ukrainians are often called Nikita Khrushchev. Biographers argue Khrushchev, whom it correct to assume that in fact Russian or Ukrainian, but the answer to this question difficult. After all, he was born in the village, which is located today on the border of Ukraine and Russia – in Kalinovka Kursk region. He worked for much of his life in the USSR, was an unambiguous representative of the Ukrainian Soviet elite in Moscow have continued to lobby for the interests of the city.

Leonid Brezhnev was not only a native Ukrainian territory, but he considered himself an ethnic Ukrainian, and it is emphasized by filling accordingly the column “nationality” in the questionnaire.

Well, in the end, Konstantin Chernenko, though born in Siberia, but came from a family of little Russian peasants immigrants.
So who is who “occupied”? You know at least one country in the world, which for decades ruled by representatives of the occupied people?

In addition to historical, pseudoaccacia Ukraine there is another side is economic. What was supposed to be “Ukraine” in 1917, was not too highly developed agricultural region. In fact, the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Republic to the USSR and attached to the new Soviet state had its own proletariat, is able to dilute the mass of farm residents.

In the first five-year plan in the USSR were built more than 400 industrial enterprises (almost one third of the “Union”). 35 key industrial facilities of the Soviet Union the beginning of industrialization in the USSR was elevated to 12, including the Dnieper, Kharkov tractor plant, the Kramatorsk machine-building plant, metallurgical plants in Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih, Mariupol.

Already in the 1930-ies the USSR has surpassed the number of industrial indicators most European countries! To compete with the Soviet Ukraine could only the UK and Germany!

Fully restored the economy of the USSR after the great Patriotic war. Ukraine received powerful energy (5 NPP, a number of hydro and thermal power plants), metallurgy (one of the most developed in the world), chemical industry, aircraft construction, rocket production, shipbuilding, automotive, plants for the production of radio equipment, turbines, agricultural and road machinery, devices, structures and much more. Significantly increased agricultural productivity. A network of roads and Railways, one of the world’s largest black sea shipping company. Almost 90% of all housing modern Ukraine was erected in the period of the Soviet Union (still some left from tsarist times). In addition, as of 1991, Ukraine had virtually the third force on the planet army. In the USSR was concentrated a significant part of the Soviet scientific potential.

According to experts, in 1990 the USSR among the ten most developed economies in the world. While Ukraine within the USSR managed to consume more than it produces! As of 1990 “donors” in the Union was just the Russian Federation and Belarus.
Such is the occupation of…

Interestingly, the Lord vyatrovich, Tyagnibok and paruby long laugh at their audiences after the broadcasts, which tell about the “Soviet occupation”? And not how to respect themselves, to believe in such nonsense?

But if the decision for the “Soviet occupation” will be accepted, Russia will wait for the next clown suits and new information and psychological attacks, which Kiev will try to impose another piece of virtual historical reality. In such a situation, the truth is the best weapon against all this nonsense.
