In the footsteps of the legendary bandit.
According to Novoselytsia village head Peter Turcani, once the leader of a rebel unit Grigor pantea, the Romanian-born, went to Vistino is in the way now, we plan to send tourists, says the story of the “First Cable”.
The tourist route will run from the Dormition Church in the village of Novoselytsia Vynohradiv district to Puntiamo housing S. Velyatino in Khust district. The path length is 10.2 miles, it will keep intact the tourist trails and mineral water springs.
The route is already marked in the framework of the program of development of tourism. It is planned to open in spring 2019, combining this event with the annual festival of Volos’ka dishes in the natural plunge pool.
Among the attractions on the route is the famous stone of strength, the beginning of the river Botar, tract Lefortovo and Pinawa pit. Along the way, equipped recreation areas and places for tents.
Historical-ethnographic route will be beneficial and of practical importance, as will unite the two districts of Transcarpathia – Vynohradiv and Khust. And in the future, the developers could be multinational – continue on the territory of Romania.
