An unusual modification Jeep runs on steam.
In recent years we’ve seen dozens of cool Jeep for sale. This three-axle Wrangler with the HEMI, and even army Jeep Steve McQueen. But what you can buy now is arguably the strangest and most stunning car with a Jeep logo.
This Loco Hauk, developed by Hauk Designs from Pennsylvania. Loco – it is just the meaning of the project. Wrangler has been modified for the steam engine.

In this promobile six wheels instead of the factory four. Of course, the ultimate goal of this project is not efficiency. After a full 55-litre tank of water can move a vehicle at 2.5 km with a speed of 48 to 56 km/h.
It is sold but, unfortunately, there is no longer a steam engine. The creators say they returned the engine back to the locomotive Museum, but all the other components remained in place.
The price is not specified, but included are a six-speed manual transmission, transfer case, wheels, tires and axles.
Most likely, it will be unusable without the other steam engine, including all modifications that were made (for example, look at the interior), but it’s still a unique project that deserves attention.
For example, Wrangler 6×6 can serve as the basis for another project or just to get in a collection of exclusive cars. Regardless of who becomes the new owner, it would be great if it would re-appear on the road.
