Official representatives of the Bahamas said Wednesday that 2.5 thousand people were registered as missing after the devastating hurricane “Dorian”, but warned that full list of missing persons was not final, as there were not reconciled with data on people in shelters or evacuated, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the UNN.
“This list has not been checked on the basis of government documents about who are in shelters or who have been evacuated. Is the database handling”, — said the representative of the National emergency management Agency, Carl Smith.
According to the publication, thousands of people are in the shelters on the Islands.
