Employees zoo in Philadelphia (USA) organized a birthday celebration for the 37-year-old dipper Goldilocks.
Goldilocks is the oldest polar bear in the United States, residing in captivity.
The zoo staff were treated to a bear, peanut butter, honey, raisins and fish cake. Visitors of “party” for Goldilocks sang the song “happy birthday”.
As noted in the administration of the zoo, the average life expectancy of bears in captivity is 23 years. Management believes that Goldilocks lived to 37 years with care and proper care.
Until 2015, the bear had lived with her partner Klondike, but he died at the age of 34.
