The company will hold the sale of tickets.
Irish airline Ryanair promised tickets for 0.99 cents after the resumption of flights, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the Correspondent.
Group head of Ryanair Michael o’leary said that as soon as they lifted restrictions on flights, the airline will start a price war. O’leary expects Ryanair will “win this battle”.
The head of the airline is convinced that the market for air travel will recover quickly. Therefore, the main goal of Ryanair is “return of the pilots, flight attendants and aircraft in the sky.” O’leary stressed that the company will need passengers, so “they won’t care — 9,99€, 4,99€, 1.99 € or 0,99 Euro for the ticket”.
It is expected that partial flights resume in June 2020, and the sale will be cheap tickets for July and August.
Also in the Ryanair Group expect a tourist boom in 2021 due to unrealized journeys in 2020. However, most of the airlines are counting on the resumption of the old schedule for several years.
