The Romanian Parliament has registered a bill about legalization of marijuana for medical purposes.
The initiators of the bill were representatives of civil society and a number of deputies from the ruling Social democratic party, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to UKRINFORM.
Under the bill, in Romania (for example the Czech Republic, Germany and the Netherlands) plan to create Agency for the production of marijuana, whose duties will include the issuance of certificates for cultivation of marijuana, verification and supervision of its use for medical purposes.
A bill signed already more than 20 thousand citizens and 90 deputies of the Romanian Parliament.
The Minister of health of Romania Sorin Pintea stated in this connection that the authors of the bill there is still a lot of questions, but they will all be voiced during the discussion of the bill in Parliament, in the case of its inclusion in the agenda of the legislature.
