Poland moved a 1.5 the citizens of Ukraine.
Poland has hosted 1.5 million Ukrainians, and the majority of them came from the territories affected by the war.
This was stated by Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki during a meeting in Budapest with Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban, reports Polish radio.
“We took a 1.5 million Ukrainians, most of them are people from the territories where military operations continue. Estimate that at least tens of thousands – people who fled from these territories,” said Morawiecki.
Polish Prime Minister assured that the Polish government is ready to continue to assist “on the ground”.
“We provide support through a significant contribution to the budgets for assistance to migrants, assistance in the areas affected by the war, the restoration of hospitals and schools,” he said.
Recall Moravicki on the first day of approval in the office of the Prime Minister said that Poland took a lot of refugees from Ukraine, where the war is.
Soon, the press Secretary of the Polish government Joanna of Koprinska stated that Poland adopted the “many refugees” from Ukraine, than eased the tensions on the Eastern flank of the EU, but the EU just forget about it or don’t notice.

Embassy of Ukraine in Poland in response issued a statement about “the real number of Ukrainian refugees”, which States that for 10 months of 2017, the Polish government had granted refugee status to 56 the citizens of Ukraine.
