Animals are under threat of extinction.
In the centre of Paris, the environmental activists had spilled 300 litres of fake blood to draw the government’s attention to the threat of biodiversity conservation.
Red liquid splashed across from the Eiffel tower.
“Demonstrators during a protest poured fake blood on the stairs of Trocadero, the tourist attractions of Paris to draw attention to accelerating the pace of biodiversity loss on Earth”, – reports the edition.
In addition to the cans of “blood”, the activists brought banners reading: “Stop the sixth mass extinction”.
Note: the reason for the protests was the fact that in the last report, the United Nations has warned that one million of the roughly eight million species of living organisms on Earth is under threat of extinction.
