Airport of the British capital, London city was closed after Thames found an unexploded bomb during the Second world war.
“After the discovery of an artillery shell during the Second world war in jetty on behalf of king George V… police set exclusion zone as a precaution. As a result, the London city airport is currently closed”, – stated in the message of the airport on Twitter.
Scotland Yard said that a bomb was discovered on the morning of 11 February. The shell was found during the research and development near the airport.
