Hackers have published on its website a new list of athletes who took part in the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro, took illegal drugs and was not disqualified WADA. In total there were 11 athletes from five countries — the UK, Denmark, Australia, Spain and Germany.

 

In the case of each athlete to file the attached document, stolen from the database of WADA. In particular, it follows that Olympic champion on Boxing Briton Nicola Adams took three kinds of prohibited drugs on the basis of medical records, won gold and bronze in swimming Spanish Mireya Belmonte for the same reason took inhalation.

 

Other winners of the Games included in the list — Laura Trott (Olympic champion in Cycling), silver medalists in rowing Siobhan Marie Oconnor, Olivia Carnegie-brown, Alexander Belonogov and Olympic champion in the same sport Kim Brennan, the swimmer Jeanette Ottesen. The number used with the permission of WADA banned drugs were well-known American athletes, including tennis players Serena and Venus Williams, and gymnast Simone Bails.

 

Two days later, September 15, Fancy Bears released the second part of the data on participants in the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro, in the samples which was found a prohibited substance. The list included ten American, five British, five German, one Danish, one Polish, one Czech and one Romanian athletes. Was it the Russian boxer Misha Aloyan, the coach who later explained the presence of drugs in the body of an athlete and the fact that he had a cold and took a drop.

 

On Friday, September 16, scandal with the publication of Fancy Bears hackers commented on the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The proviso that condemns the actions of hackers, he urged the sporting community to pay attention to the information they provided. “There is a lot of questions. It seems as if healthy people taking medication legally, forbidden to others, and people who are clearly suffering serious illnesses, severe disabilities, even on suspicion of accepting some drugs are excluded from the Paralympic games”, — said Putin.

 

The Russian Paralympic team in full force was removed from the Game in Rio because of the suspicion of doping. Putin harshly condemned the decision by the International Paralympic Committee, stating that it was taken “outside the law, outside of morality outside of humanity.”

 

The Director General of WADA Oliver Niggli said that the cyber attack on anti-doping database was organized from Russia. These suspicions categorically rejected Dmitry Peskov, who said that it was “entirely excluded”.

 

Group Fancy Bear on your website States that it is an international team of hackers, advocating for fair play and clean sport. “We are Anonymous, we are Legion. We do not forgive we do not forget” — say the hackers.
