All settlements of Ingushetia should be provided with gas meters, said Monday in Magas (Ingushetia), the Chairman of the Board of Directors “Gazprom” Victor Zubkov following the results of negotiations with head of the Republic Yunus-Bek Yevkurov.
Today the debt of the Republic in front of the gas holding is very large, the payment discipline is not only lame — it is practically absent in many localities.
“It is unacceptable to have such low level of payment discipline, the debt to “Gazprom” should be eliminated. Something depends on “Gazprom”… we must make every city, every district, every village had metering devices,” said Zubkov, noting that in settlements in Ingushetia need to appoint responsible persons, controlling payment discipline.
Currently, the North Caucasus is the problem with the debt for natural gas is particularly acute. So, in the first half of this year, their total debt was $ 61 billion, accounting for over 80% of the total debt of the entire population of the Russian Federation.
According to the latest data of “Gazprom” on October 1, 2017 debt Ingushetia before the holding amounted to 5.7 billion, which implies growth of 19% compared to the beginning of January. In Ingushetia bad payments are being collected for the “blue fuel” from the population — they pay less than 60% inhabitants of the Republic.
Earlier this month, the Russian Minister for North Caucasus Affairs Lev Kuznetsov said that the Russian authorities have started a thorough analysis of the situation with non-payments of the territories of the North Caucasus, a special working group headed by Zubkov.
