Fight Carnations-Beterbiev officially confirmed

Alexander Gvozdik (17-0, 14 KO’s) for the first time hold a unification bout in the light heavyweight division.

the company “Top Rank” has officially confirmed that on October 18 in Philadelphia
in the arena of “Liacouras Center” the WBC champion Alexander Carnations
will meet with IBF title holder Arthur
Beterbiev (14-0, 14 KO’s).

Alexander Gvozdik (Ukraine): “First, I have set a goal to win the title. And now I want to become undisputed world champion. And this mission starts with the game against Beterbiev. It will be an exciting fight. The match, which will delight fans.”

Carnations
and Beterbiev first crossed in 2009 in the preliminary round of the Amateur
“tournament Ahmet Comert Memorial” in Istanbul. That battle is a boxer from Russia in the first
round Kharkiv broke his nose and won by TKO.

Alexander
Carnations became the world champion in December last year after a dramatic victory
on Adonis Stevenson. Artur Beterbiev IBF belt won in November 2017 and has held two successful defense
of his title.
