Event “Parks singing” kicks off on 22 June, the day of the great Patriotic war

Each of them will appear in two professional choirs and four conductor. The repertoire purely military — “Katyusha”, “eh, Dorogi”, “Brestskaya street”, “darkie”, “Day of Victory”, “Holy war”, “Cranes”…

Parks need to come to 15.00. At 16.00 will start a moment of silence. Immediately after will feature poems about war by the winners of the city competition of readers “My Fatherland.” And in 16.15 in all parks at the same time start a big concert. It involves not only professional choirs — that is to say, the basis. To join the musicians and everyone can. It would be a desire!

The first works will be performed by choral groups. Before each song, the host will tell the story of the creation of the work. Some songs are really unique story! Take, for example, the song “the Accidental waltz”. The poet Yevgeny Dolmatovsky wrote the words to this song in the train going from Stalingrad to the Kursk bulge.

And with the melody of “Holy war” in the turbulent war years every day the inhabitants of Soviet cities started their day. The song was played on the radio every morning at midnight.
