Canadian singer and poet Leonard Cohen has died on 83-m to year of life.

Parting with Cohen will take place later in Los Angeles. The musician family asks for privacy in time of grief.
Cohen was born in 1934, a career as a musician began in 1967. Over the years, Cohen has released 14 Studio albums and more than a dozen books of poetry and novels.
In October 2016, the musician released his latest album “You Want It Darker”. During his presentation, Cohen said he intends to release another couple of CDs and going to live to 120 years.
Leonard Cohen – famous poet, novelist, artist, author and performer of songs, released their first album in the second half of 1960-ies. In the early 1990-ies Cohen announced the completion of a musical career. However, in 2008, the musician was forced to go on a world tour once a few years earlier lost his retirement savings because of the fraud of their Manager.
