Thursday, December 6, at the age of 88 years died the cult French film Director Jean-Luc Godard. It is one of the most prominent representatives of the so-called “new wave” of French cinema, who has conquered the world in the 50-60-ies of the last century.
Godard during his career he made more than 70 films. His last work was presented in may 2018 at the Cannes international film festival. The film is “the Book” (or “Image and speech”).
The Director was awarded a number of awards and prizes including the “Golden bear” in 1965, “Golden lion” in 1983, an honorary Oscar in 2011.
The most famous was his next painting: “the last breath”, “a woman is a woman,” “Pierrot Le fou”, “Two or three things I know about her.”
