The Bank of Russia issued a letter about the problem of blocking of accounts self-employed when performing measures on counteraction to legalization (laundering) of incomes. The regulator recommended that banks in determining the source of origin of the funds to consider the status of the client as self-employed, says RBC.
As noted by the Central Bank, “there are cases of unsubstantiated decisions on abandonment of operations by reason of admission to your Bank account self employed cash in the form of professional income.”
The regulator recommends that credit organizations “to consider information about the customer’s status as a self-employed” and also “to record this information in the questionnaire (dossier) of the client” to use her in the future, by all units and branches of the Bank.
To check whether the client is self-employed, the Bank can use the service on.
