After Brexia even in the poorest countries of the European Union standing up for herself. Now they can stomp her foot and put pressure on Brussels and the European Commission to defend their rights.

Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov demanded(!) from the European Commission “a clear and categorical position” for major energy projects to be carried out in the country, including with the participation of Russia.

But more recently the Bulgarian government, tail between his legs, following the directions of Brussels. In particular, because of pressure from the European Commission in Sofia was not given permission to build the “South stream” through the territory of the country.

We must pay tribute to the Bulgarians, they almost immediately began to bite their elbows, suddenly realizing what they refused, and what are the prospects this project could bring to their country.
Today Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov very glad that I talked to him the President of the Russian Federation. Yesterday Vladimir Putin at the initiative of the Bulgarian side held a telephone conversation with Mr Borisov.

“After yesterday’s conversation with President Putin I was a great optimist. The President was very friendly. Given the existing problems believed that our conversation will be much more difficult”, – said the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov.

During a telephone conversation focused on joint energy projects, which again was extremely important for Bulgaria. Now Sophia looks forward to the resumption of cooperation with Russia. Apparently, European promises Brussels not as warm as the Russian gas, which the Bulgarians voluntarily abandoned at the end of 2014.

The main hope of the Bulgarian side connects with the resumption of the construction of NPP “Belene”, and the prospects for building a gas distribution centre “Balkans” and supply of the Russian gas project “South stream”. Boyko Borisov said that “to resolve these issues without the participation of Russia is impossible”.

On 7 June the President of Russia Vladimir Putin said that Moscow does not withdraw completely or from the project “Turkish stream”, from the project “South stream”, but both need a clear position of the EU.
