The coin value will be 10 pounds.
The British Treasury is going to release a coin commemorating the country’s exit from the European Union, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Vlasti.net.
Coin 50 pence with the words “Peace, prosperity and friendship with all Nations” should emerge to appeal to new date “Brekzita” – October 31.
Earlier it was planned to produce a limited edition commemorative coin to the original date “Brekzita” – March 29, 2019. From this idea was abandoned, as the British exit from the EU was several times postponed due to disagreements around the Treaty with Brussels.
The previous Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond had planned to produce 10 thousand coins with a face value of 10 pounds.
