Biathlon: Preuss won the mass start of Ruhpolding

German biathlete Franziska Preuss was the strongest in mass start at world Cup stage in Ruhpolding.

Preuss to first personal victory in his career at the shooting range closed all 20 targets, and in the final meters of the race never won the Norway’s Ingrid landmark Tandrevold, which also ran the best race in his career.

Top 3 was closed by the Slovak Paulina violet, which took away from Anastasia Kuzmina the leadership in the standings before the mass starts. Nearest rival violet is ahead by 6 points.
