The international Association of the best restaurants in the world (Les Grandes Tables du Monde) was named the best pastry chef in the world in 2018. The winner of the award for the first time was a woman – 41-year-old Frenchwoman christelle brla, pastry chef of the Parisian restaurant Le Pré Catelan, which has three Michelin stars. She “was able to create a clear identity that distinguishes it among a thousand,” said the jury at a meeting in Marrakech on Tuesday evening, October 9.
