The upcoming update Battlefield V will bring with it numerous bug fixes.
Battlefield V is the first game involving hardware acceleration of ray tracing via an extension to DirectX Raytracing (DXR). Thanks to the owners DXR-compatible graphics cards (as for adapters Nvidia GeForce Titan V, and RTX) can enjoy realistic reflections, albeit at the sacrifice of frame rate.
However, hardware acceleration of ray tracing is not the only feature of the graphics architecture and Turing Nvidia GeForce RTX. They also supports Deep Learning-aliasing Super-Sampling (DLSS), which already tomorrow will be implemented in Battlefield V with this new patch.
Recall DLSS uses artificial intelligence algorithms and uses of tensor kernels included in the GPU Turing. In theory, it can significantly improve the image quality with minimal framerate loss. As shown by tests in 3DMark Port Royal, activation DLSS improves the performance of GeForce cards RTX in ray tracing.
In addition, the upcoming update V Battlefield will bring numerous bug fixes, better balance and mechanics, and new game modes.
