Audi will bring to Geneva a new concept e-tron

The concept is built on the platform of the MEB from the VW Group.

Before the Geneva motor show is less than a month, and we begin to learn more about the upcoming concept, the Audi e-tron.

The model, which will be presented on March 5, declared a “compact SUV”. It’s not so detailed, but judging from preliminary data, we are talking about the equivalent model Q3.

The concept is built on the platform of the MEB from the VW Group, which is designed specially for electric vehicles, and it will also be used in the upcoming Volkswagen hatchback ID Neo. In fact, the crossover will be sister model of the hatchback, the new compact electric car from Seat – all three models will be produced at the Volkswagen plant in Zwickau, in Germany.

Technical parameters model is unknown, but earlier, Volkswagen said that the platform MEB will be available with rear and all-wheel drive, and with the modular battery pack that will allow models to pass from 320 to 550 miles on a single charge.

In addition to a new crossover concept, Audi uses the Geneva motor show to introduce four hybrid. One of them will be hybrid Q5 crossover, as for the others, you may want to wait for the A7 e-tron and A8 e-tron.
