The main difference of the novelties from the previously released GeForce RTX 2080 Dual is to use the fans of the new design.
In the line of GeForce graphics cards RTX from the Taiwanese company ASUSTeK Computer has a GeForce RTX 2080 Dual EVO. The device is an updated version of GeForce RTX Dual 2080, which passed through our test lab, and will be available in two versions with different factory overclocking.
The main difference of the novelties from the previously released GeForce RTX 2080 Dual is to use the fans of the new design. These 100 mm propellers have been used in the older ROG Strix solutions and highlights the ring connecting the blade tips. The design of the radiator, apparently, remained the same, and the whole cooling system takes three slots.
The working frequency of the graphic chip Nvidia GeForce TU104 at RTX 2080 Dual EVO is from 1515 until 1710 MHz slot, and up to 1740 MHz in OC mode. Her “sisters” EVO Dual OC maximum values are 1725 and 1755 MHz respectively. The memory GDDR6 in both cases runs at an effective speed of 14 GHz, and for additional power connection uses 6 – and 8-pin connectors.
The recommended price of graphics cards ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 Dual EVO is not reported. Note that in the European retail same model series Dual can be purchased at a price of €750, and for the version ROG Strix will have to pay €810.
