Last weekend the acting President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin visited the Crimea. The President met with voters in Sevastopol region, visited the new terminal of the airport of Simferopol. Communicating with members of the public, Mr Putin promised that the city will be a major cultural center with branches of the most famous museums in Russia (Russian Museum, the Hermitage, Tretyakov gallery) as well as an excellent base for the training of artists.
The idea of the Museum’s branches is not new. At least these guardians of the most valuable works of art already exist platforms in other regions, not only in Russia. So, in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) since 2009 operating as a branch of the Hermitage, in addition, systematically pleases expositions Exhibition center “Hermitage-Kazan” in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russia). Work is underway on the establishment of a branch of the Hermitage in Moscow. Russian Museum is a set of sites in the territory of Petersburg and Leningrad region. In 2015, the branch of the Russian Museum was opened in Malaga (Spain).
The President said that such cultural centres will be created in other geographically significant places: “cities Such as Vladivostok, Kaliningrad, Sevastopol, we should choose and even in Siberia a couple of places such good, in which there are no such centers.”
Thus, Russian history, Russian culture and art will be available to Russians throughout the country. Creative samples will be educated students of art schools, young artists and musicians to develop their talents.
