Archaeologists have found an incredible historical and scientific value of the find, which turned on the head of the history of the island of Guernsey.

The team of archaeologists during the excavation in the channel island of Guernsey have discovered a strange 400-year-old grave in which was buried an unknown man.

As reported by Live Science, the discovery was made on the coast of Guernsey one of the channel Islands. Archaeologists have unearthed the burial, which was a human skeleton with no wrists.

Previously it is established that it was a man, who died in the XVI or XVII century. This is evidenced by the remains of the men’s clothing found in the burial, in particular, buttons.

It is known that in the middle ages the island was inhabited by hermit monks. At first, scientists thought that the tomb lies one of them. They suggested that the deceased man was suffering from a terrible disease – leprosy. That would explain the lack of brushes.
