Анатолий Вассерман: скорый союз стран бывшего СССР неизбежен

Russian journalist and TV presenter Anatoly Wasserman gave some advice to the future President of Kyrgyzstan, and expressed the opinion, why the imminent Union of the countries of the former USSR is inevitable. The conversation with the Russian genius was moderated by chief editor of Sputnik Kyrgyzstan Erkin Alymbekov

Anatoly Wasserman arrived in Bishkek in the framework of the international Central Asian forum “Media in the era of posttrade: facts against hoaxes”. Russian journalist talked about modern trends in the media.

— Share the first impressions of Bishkek.

— I arrived in Kyrgyzstan for the first time, but I hope to visit here again. It so happened that due to the tight schedule will only have time to visit Bishkek. But I in absentia acquainted with the sights of your country. For example, in the pearl — lake Issyk-Kul in the Soviet Union was the center of the test torpedoes, so the literature related to the fleet, this object very often referred to.

Transfer with your participation, popular, success in intellectual projects is the achievement of high level of IQ, or is there something else?

— IQ I have about 150, I measured it at a young age. But that’s not it. Oddly enough, the intellectual game is another variation on the theme of a holistic picture of the world. The fact that they ask specially designed questions in order to come to an answer was possible, based on the known facts.

If any fact is known, it is often included in the text of the question to give a support for thought. It is clear that reasoning can be very complex, but an experienced player scrolls in the head several standard schemes, and if they fit, then the answer will be ready by the end of zachetki issue. That is, players do a simple calculation.

— I’m interested in your impressions of Kyrgyzstan. Surely your intellectual baggage has interesting facts about our country…

— There have been two coup d’état. About the first I even wrote an article, “the Intellectual on the throne”, where he compared President Akaev with the last Russian Emperor, who was a very good man, his only drawback was only an absolute incompetent.

Novels like the Emperor was, Akayev as the President. These people could not make decisions because they were afraid to infringe on anyone’s interests, but the head of state to do otherwise can not.

The events that took place in 2004, I can’t call a revolution. The term “revolution” is the change of the social system as a whole. Immediately this did not happen. But as far as I can tell, after the second coup, the situation began to change for the better. Because the experience of both revolutions have convinced most people that there is no alternative to the course, which was initially proclaimed, namely the exchange rate at the closest possible integration with old partners.

As far as I can tell, after much hesitation, the country returned to the path. And, as time has shown, he was correct and useful.

— What do you mean by “the course chosen by the people and the President of Kyrgyzstan”?

The point is simple: no other integration projects, despite their obvious usefulness is no substitute for the reintegration of space which at different times was called the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union. Only on its basis and the country as a whole and its separate regions can participate in other integration structures, without losing its independence.

How it will end this post-Soviet reintegration, in the form of a single state or some close intergovernmental structures, it is difficult to say. As the experience of the European Union, the integration of the design sooner or later fall apart or become so strong that they can not be distinguished from a single state.

— What do you think about the US war with North Korea? Believe that it will be unleashed?

— I think the Kim dynasty is smarter than generations of Clintons and bushes, so do it first. At the same time, the Americans know not to go there, where the risk to change.

As soon as North Korea appeared missiles that can reach the American continent, it became clear that the US can vividly threaten, but trouble will not come back.

I should note that the reunification of Korea is considered a very important process not only in the North but in the South (North and South Korea. — Ed.). Until recently, each half believed that reunification should happen on her terms, after the reunification of Hong Kong with China in both halves of Korea consider the option of “one country, two systems”. Even tried several times to start negotiations on this issue, but Americans are constantly blocking them. The division of Korea allows the Americans to keep the southern half of the Peninsula, a considerable force, sufficient to control not only Korea, but also neighboring areas.

It is clear that the reunification of Korea is not a task for the near future, but it is clear that America will be difficult to prevent it.

Analysts repeatedly spoken out about the fact that the United States is disadvantageous to the development of the Central Asian region and in the coming years, there will be war with the DPRK, it will begin terrorist attacks in Central Asia. Whether such a course of events?

It is unlikely that Americans pay attention to stability in Central Asia, it is disadvantageous to the stability in any corner of the planet except in the United States. The main export product States is instability in any region where they began their campaign.

— And now the question about appearance. I hate to ask, but still curious to hear the answer. You have long nails… This is an attempt of self-expression?

— I am often thrown from one extreme to another. Until the end of the 90s, I did not get out of theaters, and then abandoned. To 20 years I cut his nails every day, but then we went to the other reality. Since I don’t work with your hands, nails can grow to a fair size.

— Believe in God?

— No, I’m an atheist. Ten years ago I published a proof of the impossibility of its existence. I know that it is not. It does not prevent me to respect a religion as a great institution of education.

— And finally give some advice to candidates on a post of the President of Kyrgyzstan.

— I assume your voters will support the one who is more convincing the other will demonstrate a desire to continue a previously selected course. I recommend to all candidates to consider further steps Eurasian reintegration, which should be carried out first.
