Egyptian military court has sentenced to death 17 people for participating in terrorist attacks at three Coptic churches and at a police checkpoint in 2016 and 2017, which killed more than 80 people.
Another 19 people received prison terms.
The attacks in churches in the cities of Alexandria and Tanta in 2017, claimed the lives of 45 people. They have claimed responsibility, the Islamic state militants.
Also the group responsible for the attack in December 2016 at the Cathedral of St. Mark in Cairo. Then killed 28 people.
